Marinas and Boatyards

Chatham has a rich maritime history which continues to this day, surrounded as we are on three sides by water.  Our boatyards and marinas are essential parts of our town to provide services for our commercial fleet as well as our recreational fishermen.  The marinas pride themselves on their full service facillities providing repairs, sales of new and used boats, gas...and most important perhaps, boat slips.  To obtain a mooring  from the town in any of the waters of Chatham is usually a six plus year wait.  Many sailors find a more convenient way to access their boats by renting a slip in one of the marinas.  This has the added advantage of walking right to your boat as opposed to rowing a dinghy out to it also!

www.ryderscoveboatyard.com  is located in North Chatham on Pleasant Bay and provides sales, storage, repairs and slips for rent.

www.oysterriverboatyard.com is located off Barnhill Road on the Oyster River leading to Stage Harbor accessing Nantucket Sound.  Sales, repairs, storage and those all important slips are offered.  This company is also known as the Chatham Yacht Basin.

www.outermostharbor.com is located past the Lighthouse and as well as sales and service offers seal watches and a water taxi to the Outer Beach.

www.stageharbormarine.com is located right on Stage Harbor and offers sales, service and some slips for rent.
